Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Development Engineer – III at Hatio, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact on our product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- End-to-end development from requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Optimize and enhance system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding junior engineers on best practices, design principles, and code quality.
- Own and drive critical projects with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and delivery timeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless system performance.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, keeping the team ahead of industry trends.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Expert in Java programming language.
- Proficiency in SpringBoot framework.
- Hands-on Experience with RDBMS (such as Oracle), streaming platforms (such as Kafka) and NoSQL databases (such as AeroSpike).
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Ability to take up ownership, responsibility, and accountability for technical solutions.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Thrives in dynamic discussions, valuing the merit of ideas over hierarchy.
- Understands that not all solutions are easy and is willing to put in the hard work required to achieve goals.
- Committed to creating and maintaining technical documentation, including code comments and development process documentation.
- Excellent communication skills.
